Hi, this is the Drensperience community center, feel very welcome to join us! Please have a seat, grab a drink, get some ice cream and relax. What is your name? Nice to meet you!
Today’s session is about your ‚friends‘. We just heard they are posting too many photos of their last holiday while you are still at home? Even when they’re already back for like eight weeks? ‘Curacao’ must be such a beautiful place to stay. Have you seen the latest pic? The bonfire! The people! The beach!!! Come on, don’t be jealous, we know how you feel. No shame in dreaming of other places, believe us. They must have seen incredible places… or was it only the phone screen? You must be excited to hear what they’ll tell you, again… if they can remember.
Because if you only live out of the cloud someone has to follow your posts – let’s drop a hint: it’s not you anymore.
lyrics
No winds from the seaside
No sand beneath my feet
I don’t get no sunburn
Just some shadow in the streets
I see only pieces
In pictures of you
But these lies are too good
To take my eyes off you
Curacao
I wanna see that too
Curacao
Why can’t I be you?
Curacao
Not the place to see truth
Curacao
Can’t you see
I‘m lying?
Eat pizza, all alone
Are you really
Travelling?
Or just starring at your phone?
I see only pictures
And pictures of you
But these likes are too good
To take my eyes off you
Curacao
I wanna see that too
Curacao
Why can’t I be you?
Curacao
Not the place to see truth
Curacao
Can’t take my eyes of you
Late at night I rather dive into
Into in my mind when I‘m with you
I feel outdone
I feel no fun
I feel undone
Curacao
I wanna see that too
Curacao
Why can’t I be you?
Curacao
Not the place to see truth
Curacao
