Bang Bang! Look out for the sheriff!
It’s 1818 (or 2018?), Drens scared the daylights out of the saloon and they’re on their way to catch the next gold train.
The driving beat of ‘Yellow Teeth’ takes you to the heat of Nowhere prairie, to all the rattlesnakes, vultures and the smell of steam, coal and… gold.
Have you seen the Herald’s headline?
‘Wanted! Outlaws known as Drens robbed a bank using pistolero riffs and fuzz guitars! Gang leader has red shorts and shiny, yellow teeth!’
While others hide in the badlands, Drens are rising from a no-surfer’s paradise in the wild western part of the country and rally more and more people.
‘Yellow Teeth’ is the gang’s next chapter and tells about torture & fortitude and being a lost desperado in the dusty middle of your town.
lyrics
I got something that you don’t have
They’re bright and shiny, my yellow teeth
They’re the first thing that you see
When I smile, I let them be
It’s my yellow teeth
My yellow teeth
Just my yellow teeth
My yellow teeth
They shine for me but tortured me
They came but the won’t go
Sometimes I gasp for air
I feel so wounded that they won’t go
When they came I begged for thieves
To steal them out of my mouth and I’d be free
Come on please, believe in me
Now I know they are a part of me
It’s my yellow teeth
My yellow teeth
Just my yellow teeth
My yellow teeth
They shine for me but tortured me
They came but they won’t go
Sometimes I gasp for air
I feel so wounded that they won’t go
They shine for me but tortured me
They came but the won’t go
Sometimes I gasp for air
I feel so wounded that they won’t go
